Beta Theta Pi Closingt at Bowling Green State U.
 

Sad to report, the Beta Theta Pi chapter at Bowling Green State U (BGSU) is being closed by Beta HQ. The main reason appears to be low numbers following a reorganization. The student paper's article is at

Sometimes you need a totally fresh start. I honestly think it is more difficult to rebuild after a re-organization than just re-colonzing anew.

Back in '98 my chapter when under re-organization and went from over 100 men to 4. It took five years to get back to were we are now with about 70 guys. In the beginning it took a lot of work and dedication and recruiting the right type of guys.

Beta does a very good job when they re-colonize a chapter and maybe that's what the Bowling Green chapter needs.
