Miss USA 2005
The candidates have been selected, and their interviews confirm that at least 6 of them are in sororities:
Arkansas: Jessica Furrer -- Alpha Sigma Tau Colorado: Laura Cisneros -- Sigma Gamma Lambda Hawaii: Jennifer Furbank -- Delta Gamma I'm pretty sure (she refers to her work for the blind with her sorority while at LMU) -- wish she'd edit out that Benadryl comment, though. North Carolina: Chelsea Cooley -- Delta Zeta South Dakota: Jessica Fjerstad -- Kappa Alpha Theta Wyoming: Abby Norman -- Kappa Kappa Gamma (does she look like Sarah Michelle Gellar or what?) Some the others look like they might be sorority women, since they've heavily supported charities that our groups are attached to, but only the ones listed above specifically mention their affiliation. http://www.missusa.com/index2.html |
Jennifer Fairbank is a Delta Gamma from LMU and was once active with Panhellenic of Hawaii.
She and I don't get along at all and I hope she does her best to cover her man shoulders. There is already a thread on this: http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...threadid=64297 |
Miss Massachussets, Cristina Nardozzi did rush for Phi Sigma Sigma when I did ( I remember sitting next to her at most events! haha ) but never ended up going through with it.
I do wish her the best of luck though!! |

I think Miss Alabama kinda looks like ZTAngel.
|
Having read her profile, my favorite delegate (so far) is Miss California - not that I'm biased or anything, but she's from my area! :)
