Who lives in Las Vegas?
 

Whats the weather like? I will be there Thurs-Mon and saw on the weather channel that it is going to be raining. Now my ? is, is it Chicago type rain where it just doesnt stop and seems like the second coming of the Flood, or is it the pretty rain where the sun comes out an hour later?

and the weather says mid 60s, low 70s but its been so long since we've had that kind of weather here that I dont even know if that feels cold or warm or what.

I live here. We have been having crazy weather this year, we had our entire years worth of rain by February. The rain is actually pretty unpredictable. Yesterday it started out slow but increasingly got harder then it stopped for about an hour and then it rained harder than I've ever seen it rain then it stopped again. Our local weather station says there is only a chance of rain tommorrow which is thursday but this weekend is supposed to be in the 70's and clear. To you it would probably be warm, to us it still is chilly. (compared to 115 in the summer) Hope this helps sorry so long.

Yeah... talk about crazy weather. I think those 40-50 mph winds from the early 90's are making their return (I live on the south east side of town... near the strip)

I grew up in Vegas and I was there all last week. Bring a coat, you'll need it at night. Jeans, sweater during day usually. I live in LA now and the weather is just a bit colder there than here at this time of year.

I don't live there but it is one of my fave places on earth. Can't wait to go back and visit

for the day too? the only coat i am bringing is a jean jacket. will i be fine with that? cuz the type of coat i'm wearing now is a wool winter jacket!

I wore a wool coat when I was there last week... but then again I live in a warmer place than you, so it seemed cold.

Keep in mind it is the desert and it does cool down a lot at night.
