Excel question
It's Monday- the day is almost over and I have an excel question. And because I can't get it to work properly I am here on GC passing time.... so I am hoping someone can solve this for me (so I don't have to think, or you the help button)
I am using a v-lookup table and it is pulling some numbers in ok, but others it is populating the field with the wrong answer. Example--- Lookup value is 123, the next cell the lookup value us 123* On my table array the answer to 123=1 and 123*=0 but the table is reading 123* as 123 and populating the cell with 1, not the zero. So how do I make it read by * at the end of the lookup value. Overall it is way overstating my bottom line----- Thanks!! |
In the Range Lookup part of the vlookup formula put FALSE
