I read in the newspaper several weeks ago that you can now get a look at your credit report for free, its the law that you can see it. I cant seem to find a website though of where to locate it. I went on google but all those places want you to pay money. Does anyone know what website you can go from the newspaper? Has anyone looked at their report since this law passed?

The site that I know of is www.annualcreditreport.com but I know in the state of Texas we won't be able to get the free one till June. They split the US up in different sections so depending what state you are in depends if you are able to get it now or if you have to wait a couple months.

The Western states are first to get their free annual credit report. In September, everyone will be eligible for a free credit report.

Thanks for the website. Ohio was eligible March 1st so I went on the site and downloaded mine and my hubbys. Thanks. I couldnt find out where that website was :)
