Video Day Ideas
 

Our chapter has used clips from Charlies Angels in our rush video for a few years now. It works because there is a part of the movie that fits well with each of the different activities we do (intramurals, philanthropy, sisterhood, etc.) The problem is that we've done this theme to death. Does anyone have any different ideas?

We never have really used clips from other movies in our movies for rush, but a few years ago we changed the way we made our videos. Someone in charge of making the video taped various events: our philanthropy, big sis rev, etc. to use clips from to put in the video. This was added around various sisters talking about their experiences. It turned out really good actually.

Also, I'm not even sure if you can use clips from movies with getting permission, I'm not sure about copyright laws though.

We don't use clips of movies in our videos either. Just some good music and lots of cute pictures of pi phi's having fun doing sisterhood activities, philanthropies, etc. The potential new members like to see the faces of what their potential sisters may look like.
