Rushing Kappa Delta
 

Hi! I'm transferring to EKU this fall and i'm interesting in rushing Kappa Delta there, and i was wondering if anyone could tell me more about them and/or Kappa Delta.

I do not know much about EKU (east kanas?) they gave us shirts for rush
however I can tell you that pledging KD was one of the best expirences in my life, that I would not trade for anything.
Also all KD's hold our beliefs and rituals close at heart and share that common bond.
although I strongly suggest you go through rush with an open mind because as wonderful as KD is there maybe another sorority that is a better fit for you. as far as references they are strongly suggested but certainly not manditory

I was also interested in rushing Kappa Delta at my school but I can't for the life of me find an alumni that I can get to write me a rec letter. Do you think it's the end of the world if I can't get a rec letter for Kappa Delta cause I really want to be in that sorority! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

I'm interested in rushing KD at MTSU. I don't know too much about rush here though we don't have houses so if anyone can give me any insight here I would really appriciate it. Thanx a bunch!

Glad to see KD has made a good impression so far.

The only advise I can give, is go where you feel comfy...where you can walk in after a fight with a boyfriend and ALWAYS find someone to cry on. I know that sounds cheesey, but you need a "house" that will embrace you, not look you up and down.

KD is a great national organization. We are successful nationally and locallyand have 124 chapters. We have the best programming and national support out there. Service wise, KD is great, we even work with the Girl Scouts! KD is a lifetime of memories, we also have the best alum in the universe...I have just crossed over to the alum world and find it even more fun and interesting than college life. I get to give back to KD in honor of what she gave to me.
