Shannon Elizabeth, husband splitting


LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Shannon Elizabeth, who starred in "American Pie," and husband Joseph Reitman have decided to split, People magazine reported Monday.

"The couple will remain friends," spokeswoman Nicole King told the magazine. The two continue to share a Los Angeles home, she said.

Elizabeth, 31, and Reitman, 36, also an actor, married in June 2002 in a ceremony on a beach in Mexico, People said. They have no children.

Reitman has appeared in films starring Elizabeth, including "American Pie 2" and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back."

The couple co-founded Animal Avengers, a nonprofit animal rescue organization.

Hollywood divorce attorneys are making some money this week... sheesh... I need to check the calendar, is it national divorce week or something?

Is that an edict? How does Ms. King know that. I always shake my head in wonder when I read this kind of quote.

Her number was on Paris Hilton's list that was on the internet recently.

lol yea it would be funny. I think one of these days those magazines should put that in just to see if people read past the "So and So are ending their 1-year marriage due to differences" :p

They really should stop airing their weddings on VH1's Celebrity Weddings. It's like, go on this show...you're headed for splitsville. They just showed Shannon & Joe's nuptials in a rerun last week. :rolleyes:
