Erik Conard

While many felt Erik was a scourge of Greek Chat, there is a complication.

Erik who I have known since 1965, had his last leg amputated and is in rehab trying to work without any legs. I finally got an email from the Family after many phone calls and emails explaining for me what the situation is.

I have know this crusty, cranky old SOB for many Years, and there is no other that I know of who have worked for the betterment of Greekdom than Erik.

When I get anymore informatin, I will let you know.

I am at a very low ebb here. Bear with me.

Oh dear. I didn't always like what he had to say, but this is unfortunate. Best wishes to him.

oh my goodness. i thought this was a thread just telling him to clean out his PM box.

best wishes to him and a healthy recovery.

:( Best wishes to him & to his family.

Wow. Best wishes to him & his family

Oh my. Good luck and good thoughts to him and his family.

(If he needs to take inspiration from someone, look no further than Ron Santo. He's had both legs amputated due to complications with diabetes and he's still broadcasting for the Cubs. :) )

Thank You all for the kind words and I will have them passed along to Uncle E.:)

Maybe a little insight is due about Erik.

He worked for many years either in the Academian World at many Schools and with TKE National IHQ.

He has helped not only Me in affiliating with LXA, but in trying to expand Schools for Sororitys as well.

If He had His way, Schools would have 100 % Greek participation.

Please keep the kind words coming as when He is able to read them, it will give Him a big lift in getting through Rehab from having no legs to get around on.

But, that will not cloud His mind on helping Greeks Grow all over.:)

Working with the Young People has been His whole Life and will continue to be.

Thank You one and all.
