Help needed!!!!! (esp from a guy)

my boy needs a haircut badly (hasn't had one in 6 months) - how do I prod gently?

He is in college, this is the only time in his life he will be able to do this and get away with it, let him have his fun or break up with him if you don't like his haircut or stay with him untill he gets tired of it and trims it.

get him drunk until he passes out. then you cut if for him. say you dont know what happened if he asks you. even if you did a bad job with the cut, he will most likely have to go and get it fixed.

seriously though, if he wants to not make a fool of himself in front of your friends and family, he will either cut his hair or make himself look presentable with the long hair.

I understand your pain. My boyfriend owns his own construction company so cutting his hair and shaving is not always a daily ritual for him. When he had off between jobs in the early wintertime this year, he decided not to shave for a couple of weeks. I swear he did this purposely to piss me and his mom off (and yes, it did work!). Her and I both came down on him at the same time (literally, at breakfast one day we harassed him) and it did nothing but make him keep it a few days longer. He did shave and go for a haircut though when he needed to start meeting clients again for possible jobs. I guess what my point is, is that this will probably not last forever. Guys get lazy sometimes and this is fine. I am sure not every female shaves her legs every day either...........

Don't shave until he gets a haircut. That might work.

Agreed. Mr. valkyrie lets his hair grow to the stage where it looks a little silly from time to time but I can't say it bothers me -- as long as it never looks like a mullet.

My boyfriend really wants long shaggy hair, but his hair is phenomenally straight. So when he tries to grow it out, it turns mullety instead of messy.

All I have to do is say the word "mullet" and he runs screaming to get it cut.

At my school, there's a group on the facebook called "I Swear, My Boyfriend Used to Be Hot."

Start a similar group at your school, and when your boyfriend sees you're a member of it, he will get the hint. Hopefully. And if he doesn't, dump him.

This is the only thing that will work.

I guess it's just one of those differences between males and females. I have to get my hair trimmed at least every 2 months. Since I am growing out short hair, it looks bad if I don't get the split ends trimmed. Since my hair now is at the length of what many guys would consider "long hair" I think the same rule should apply. But as I wrote above, it really is like pulling teeth with them. Plus now the more that I think about it, the longer you are with a guy, things like not shaving our legs doesn't always tend to phase them anymore because then they say "I am comfortable with you, hairy legs and all".

Blasphemy! I know of no man that finds hairy legs on women to be attractive. Maybe its just me (and every guy with whom I've ever discussed this,) but hairy legs is never tolerable. It ranks up there with even numbered bodily functions.

LOL. Never said they find it attractive, just that they are more "tolerable" of these things. Kinda like when guys get comfortable enough to fart under the covers. Now, I don't know any woman who finds this attractive but I guess it's one of those things you learn to deal with the longer you are with someone.
