No tours that I've ever heard of - the lead singer is the frontman for Death Cab for Cutie, who is almost constantly on tour. I have heard that they are working on another album, though, and doing it the same way as before (mailing the DATs back and forth, hence the name) - should be interesting to see if they can do another solid disc, without the whole "genre-bending" angle. "Give up" is sick.

I've heard it's just two guys from DC who made that album in a basement. Rumor?

The singer is the lead singer of Death Cab, and the producer/programmer plays under the name Dntel. Both have had long careers in music.

The name "The Postal Service" comes from the two mailing DATs back and forth, since they lived on opposite sides of the nation.
