Erik Conard

To The Fraters of Tau Kappa Epsilon.

I have received information about Erik Conard who as many know, I am so very fond of.

I finally got an email after many calls to His home in Colorado.

His Family informed me that He is currently in Rehab for having his second leg amputated. I was unaware that He had already had one taken from him as last time I saw Him He just walked with a walker.

I have asked His Family to keep me updated and send an address where you can send well wishes cards if you so desire.

When I find anymore out, I will be sure to keep you informed.

For those that have not had The Pleasure of meeting this Cranky Old SOB, you dont what you have missed.

I have had the pleassure of having known Him since 1965 and tried to find Him for many years.

Funny, He found me on G C and we have Kept in touch ever since.

Please Keep Him in your Prayers.

Interfraternaly Yours,

For the Brothers of TKE, an update on The Erik C.

Latest update from My Friend Uncle E!

I was gonna put a brief note in Greek Chat, forgot my password, and have not heard from
them in spite of two requests.
The insurance company kicked me out of the rehabt outfit a bit early, but they said I was
the strongest...physically and had the best attitude of anyone they ever had.
I was was surprised as I had told only 3 or 4 folks where I was and ended up with nigh on
a hundred visitors and even more cards.
I feel shitty, but get a new right leg replaced Friday and hopefully the left one, the last on
took from me, will heal soon and I will get the other. They say I will walk again, perhaps
even unassisted. I will be satisfied with even a walker. Being old and sick sucks.
TKE is installing at CU on 23 Apr and I hope to be well enough to go.
We picked up a local, pioneering at Central Methodist in Fayette, MO, 40+years old.
Lambda Chi oughta join us...will help any way I can.
We got more prospects that field men to visit, have about 30 groups & about 270 chapters.
One of these days I will don my hair shirt again. Regards, Erik

That is My Uncle E!:D
