Theta chants & songs
 

Hey girls, I hope somebody actually reads this message http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif I was just wondering if any of ya'll know any cute & catchy theta chants to do at things like derby days & other sorority competitions. We always do the same one over and over and over and personally I am ready for a new one. Ours goes "Kappa Kappa, Alpha Alpha, Theta Theta Theta! We're the best, hell yes, Kappa Alpha Theta!" So not only is it repetitive, but I guess a little crude too. Anyway, if your chapter has anything better to offer (which shouldn't be too hard http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif), please let me know!

We actually have a ton of cute, Greek Week easy to do songs, but I can't remember them right now! We have an awesome Song Chair who is a Music major that I could give you the e-mail of if you contact me. The one I can remember is a lot like yours:
K-A-PP-A A-L-PH-A T-H-ET-A, Kappa, Kappa, Kappa Alpha Theta, and we repeat...boring I know...and then there's a go hot Theta one, I can't remember

Hey! :) Eventhough i'm a new Theta member at Eastern Kentucky University, and i dont knwo a lot of our chants and songs yet, there is one that i learned during rush time that stood out . "DAMN! it's hot in here! It must be the Theta's in the atmosphere. I say DAMN! it's hot in here it must be the theta's in teh atmosphere!" This cheer always made me smile and pumped me up while waiting to go into the party :)

A Theta Alum from VT(Sandy) one time told me about a serenade that they did for Beta. Its a lullaby song(mulberry bush) and very cute.

I know this topic was way long ago, but we use a really cute song/ chant during recruitment that always gets stuck in my head (and those of the PNMs too :) ):

Thanks for the bump, Jess! Not gonna lie, there were some of these I forgot allllll about! The Theta Kite lullabye is one of my favoriites. But we did a LOT of the above.
