Greek Week is just around the corner!
Hey girlies! The ladies of the Psi chapter always participate in our annual Greek Week on Marshall's campus, like playing football, basketball, softball, volleyball, etc...I was just wondering if you girl's campuses did the same sort of thing...and at the end of the week on Sunday afternoon we have our "Greek Sing" where every sorority makes up dance routines and sing and all the frats do little skits like SNL or American Idol...what about you all??

Our Greek Week starts in April! There are events worth points all week long.
There's a week long blood drive and each sister/brother who donates is worth a certain # of points. There's a one day "letters check in" @ the student center where each sister/brother who checks in at the Greek Week table from 12-1pm is worth points. There are speakers during the week which each chapter must have 30% of their chapter in attendance to get 50 points. There is the big Talent Show, and the top 3 acts earn points for their chapter. There are also bonus points for 30% chapter attendance. The MAIN EVENT is Greek Games on Friday. Those are the traditional "field events" (i.e. 3 legged race, homemade chariot race). Those are worth about 100 points so who ever wins this stands a good chance of winning Greek Week. |
Im a freshman so I've yet to experience Greek Week, but I know it is kicked off with Greek Sing. The sororities here do a dance routine WITH the fraternities (they normally make their pledges do it). I am definitely doing it. The theme for the whole Greek Sing is "An Era in Time" so my chpater has chosen its theme and I cant let anyone know it yet...you never know who's reading. LOL
Then we have games throughout the week and you collect poitns for various activities. Everything you do, you do as a fraternity/sorority team |
