Graduate School
Alright girls, I'm making a big scary leap. I applied to grad school at Texas Tech (which is millions of miles from home) so keep your fingers crossed for me. I'll keep you all updated as to my results. I've spoken to the dean in the department I am applying to, and things look promising, we'll just have to see. I'm not 100% sure I want to go yet, but I want to have the opportunity, if that makes any sense. PLUS, I'd have to find a job and place to live and all that pretty quickly. Aggghhh!! I'm excited!

Good Luck!!!! Let me know if you have any questions about Lubbock. I was out there for 3 1/2 years and still know tons of people out there.
ETA: My good g/f knows quite a few people in the College of Education, so let me know if you have any questions in that regard and I can talk to her. She graduated from Texas Tech's College of Education and is now looking to go back to get her Masters from Tech. |
best of luck!

I want to wish you luck also from someone who just applied to grad school and got in.. So hopefully my luck rubs off on you too... even though I doubt you need the luck...

Good luck to all of you applying or just starting. I am in my second year of grad school and I LOVE IT!!! I came to Texas A&M which is 800 miles from home in Tennessee, which was a change, but I am so glad I did. It really is a completely different experience than undergrad. I love it. Good luck!
PS- I have several friends here at A&M that did their undergrad at Texas Tech and they loved Lubbock. |
