Can anyone give me a roundabout cost of a cab from Penn Station to NYU?

Depending on traffic, I would guess about $10 to $15.

So when you are you coming to NYU?

Sorry kids, not me :) The guy I am sort of dating is a doctor...well a resident right now, but he wants to do a rheumatology fellowship, and he has an interview at NYU. I told him I had some peeps who could probably give me an idea of the cost of a cab.

OK. NYU is spread out all over. He needs to make sure he has the correct address or he might wind up in the wrong place. The NYU Medical Center is about 25 blocks from the undergrads and much closer to Penn Station which is located at 8th Avenue and 31st Street. If he is going to the Medical Center, the cab will probably be less expensive although crosstown traffic can be a nightmare.
