I just heard about this, and feel so bad about it! The funny thing is, I don't think I've ever seen any of her movies - it's the "Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee!" song that reminds me of her.

Ditto. I immediately started singing that in my mind, then I was like "Wait...she never sang that...."

I've only seen one of her movies, Imitation of Life. I love that one. It's sad that she's gone.

Wow in the last yr or so we have sure lost a lot of legandary old hollywood celebrities. very sad.

That is one tear-jerker of a movie. It's sad to hear of her passing.:(

She was the original Tammy! I can't believe no one else knows the Tammy movies...I used to watch those with my mother when I was little.

Sandra Dee was from my hometown. There was a big to do in the paper this morning.

So sad. She was in one of my favorite movies "Imitation of Life":(

Is that true? I think I only saw "Tammy and the Bachelor" at a theatre and I think Debbie Reynolds was that Tammy. (?)

I saw the "Tammy & the Marathon" they had on AMC. Debbie Reynolds did the first one before Sandra Dee came on for the other two.
