Chicken Soup for th Teachers Soul
 

I bought this book last weekend because I thought as a teacher I needed inspiration from other teachers.

There is this wonderful entry entitled Any Kid Can Be a Superstar. The first time I read it I got tears to my eyes, I loved it. Well tonight I was reading some more of the book and I breezed to the back to check out the "contributors" and thier Bio's and suddenly I recognize a name. I was like "OMG I know her". So I go back to the front and look for her name to find the entry and what do you know, it's the above one I mentioned.

I started to cry.

Not because I loved the entry.

But because this woman is a sister, who I have met on many occasions and love her (sisterly love) dearly.

That's why I started to cry.



So I did a yahoo search and I found the below link to her website. Her name is Maureen. And she is an absolutely amazing woman. For any of you who get to come to convention, you will love meeting her.

On a similar note, I too know one of the authors whose story is in Chx Soup for the Teacher's Soul. She is not an ADPi, however I do work with her at Regis University in Denver, CO. Her name is Dr. Suzanne Perry and I would recommend reading her story, as well. I love this line of books!
