LSU Rush recommendations
 

Hello Tri Delts,

My daughter is going through LSU rush this fall as a freshman. My question is whether the Tri Delts require a recommendation from the rushee's home town, or will a recommendation from a Tri Delt elsewhere suffice?

Also, I heard that rushees at some schools "promote" themselves with posters. What is this about? I appreciate any advice that would help my daughter.

Recommendations can come from anywhere. I'm not sure if the rec. has to be from a Tridelta or a soroity member in general or from anyone who knows the girl. You could find all that information at tridelta.org!

the rec usually holds more weight when it is someone who personally knows the PNM.

it really all depends on the school, and i know nothing about LSU, so I can't really make any comment on it.

im not on rush commitee, but i dont think it matters where the rec is from.

ive never heard of girls promoting themselves with posters!

The poster thing sounded unusual, although some people have written that members will post a "Rush Baby" poster inside the house in private areas to acquaint other members with a rushee.
