Rejection!!!
 

I was wondering, what does it take for an individual to be rejected from a particular BGLO? Do they not have the "right" credentials? Just curious...

If you read the message boards for these organizations, you will find the information that a "non-member" needs to know.

I forgot my password. As a prospect, you're not supposed to know why one is rejected.

Generally speaking, if you are rejected, for whatever reason, you will be notified in writing by the chapter. It may be a simple "You did not meet our qualifications." You can ask the chapter's president why you were not accepted. However, you cannot and should not know why someone else was rejected.

Each organization tells applicants what the specific requirements in a manner prescribed by the organization. And each organization has specific means for evaluating applications which we cannot share with non-members. Acceptances and denials are not done arbitrarily.

Thank you all for your responses, esp. the one from the sister of DST. I didn't want know how someone, in particular, was rejected, just how the rejection process goes/how it is handled(i.e. with a letter, etc.). Once again, thank you!!
