They were talking about this on the radio this morning. While people should be able to do what they want on their days off, it's not like he didn't know his photo was being taken, and that the label would show.

Sorry, but I don't know how anybody can drink Lite beer -- no matter who you work for.

alcohol + everyone making fun of the Turkish guy + cooking oil = bruises all over your body and the most impossible thing to clean off hardwood floors. Basically I'm putting you on notice...yeah that's right! -Rudey |
He deserves to be fired
for having crap taste in beer. |
I agree with the comments on crappy beer, but WTF? I hope he sues their asses because that is some mad crazy B.S.

Actually valchaii there've been plenty of examples of this.
Britney Spears is one, I think? I'm talking about Pepsi celebrity endorsers drinking Coca-Cola and vice-versa. It's not the same thing but similar. I definitely recall a news article a few years ago about an Atlanta Coca-Cola employee dismissed for drinking Pepsi (again may've been the other way around). |
I'd be surprised if there isn't something in Britney's contract (or anyone endorsing a product) where she agrees to never be seen in public using the competition's product. It seems pretty crazy to expect the same thing from the average joe working for some company.

Right up there with won't-get-'involved'-with-others-in-the-workplace clauses?
