Sigma on American Idol
For those of you who are fans of the show (and even those of you who aren't), there is a Sigma still "in the running" to be the next American Idol. Her name is Carrie Underwood, and I'm proud to say she's a member of my chapter (Alpha Iota at Notheastern State U. in Tahlequah, OK). Even though I've been alum for several years now, I've still had the pleasure of hearing Carrie sing and perform during recruitment the past several years. I must say she is such a great singer, and a wonderful, sweet, smart young woman who has been such a great asset to the chapter during her membership, serving as an officer, etc.

That is so Awesome!! I am so excited ... I want to tell everyone I know to vote for her when it is time and all that!! Wouldnt that be exciting if she won!! Look at me gettig all carried away!! :D

Sigma Idol
I think this is awesome! I never watch American Idol...but now I have too & vote! I've already passed along this info to my undergrad chapter to boast about on our campus:p
Hopefully she'll be featured in The Triangle at some point...and if she wins..that would be incredible!! :D |
I'm sooo excited Carrie got to the top 24!!! I am going to get everyone in my chapter to vote for her! lol. (Yes I am a crazy American Idol fan)

Sorry to barge in, but she's in People Magazine this week... She's one of the ones with the big pictures in the article :) From what I've seen of her, she seems really down-to-earth.

That is SO AWESOME!! GO CARRIE GO!!!! We ladies of the Psi chapter watch American Idol religiously every week every time it's on...one of our own went and tried out in Cleveland, but unfortunately she got her wrist band cut :( :rolleyes: :confused: THERES ALWAYS NEXT YEAR THOUGH!! So glad to see that there is a new famous Sigma out there!! We all hope she goes all the way!!!!

It's so cool that she was a Sigma! I hadn't heard her sing until the final 24, but when she did I honestly thought she was one of hte BEST girls there! I am so excited that she made it through!

when I saw her singing this past week, I thought: "wow, she must of done all the recruitment solos..." , I'm so proud to have such a talented sister!!:)

Does anyone know if she is going to be featured in the Triangle or if Sigma is doing anything to let ALL of the chpters know that she is competing so theat they can watch the show and hopefully vote for her? If not ... I think we absolutely should! :D
