Being Jewish, I don't observe Lent... but if you do, remember that Sundays aren't considered Lent days ;)

ME TOO!!!! |
not giving anything up, but making an effort to deepen my faith by attending rosary every week
|
Clear booze... ie. Vodka, Gin, various crappy coolers...
|
Refined sugars.
|
NOTHING, i'm Baptist! :D
|
I actually just found out on Fat Tuesday that some Protestant denominations have Lent too. Apparently my friends in HS missed the boat on that one because they always made fun of me for it.
I'm giving up swearing because I cannot take the job I want this summer if I don't clean up my potty mouth. |

I gave up meat, except fish. It is to keep me from buying the processed microwave only meats. But organic and vegan "meat" is hella expensive, so I have to control my spending in other places.
The boyfriend gave up refined sugar. I'm a diabetic who isn't *supposed* to have sugar so I appreciate the effort he's going through. However, his roommate asked if this was a way to understand my situation better. He said, yeah I understand that it sucks. :D |
All soda's and fast food(but I define fast food as anything with a drive through, so Subway and Jersey Mike's are okay)
Funny story--last year on the DAY BEFORE EASTER, I was at a friend's house for a party and I helped myself to some chicken tenders from the platter, assuming they were from Publix or another grocery strore(ie, not fast food). As I am eating the tender, I spy a CHICK FIL A BOX under the table!!! I was immediatly trying to spit it out discreetly!! It was WAY attractive! |
