Female Kappa
 

I really don't know how to address this topic, but I was wondering have a female ever tried pledge or who was inderested in Kappa Alpha Psi? How far did she make it, would you recommend it? Why or why not? Also, do you know of any female that tried to join a fraternity?

As a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, I will tell you no in a gentleman like manner. There are several wonderful organization that kater to the needs, hopes and aspirations of women. Please so not ask such questions like this again....go ask zeta phi beta sigma ...they take all kommers! LOL

I wasn't going to reply to this post, but I must say dear brother you need to watch your self with such ignorant comments in regards to my organiZation and Phi Beta Sigma. When either organiZation begins to do what you suggest, hell will be freeZing over. There was no need for your uncalled for jab. It's a good thing there are a lot more mature Kappas out there who don't carry themselves as such. A wise Nupe once told me that there is no need to put others down if your stuff/organiZation is da bomb because you'll be sparkling high above the rest beyond any negativity...

Please let Nupe4Life take care of moderating this board. As a moderator it's up to his discretion as to what is and is not appropriate on the KAPsi board. He has done a good job so far and can take care of anything he feels is inappropriate.

Unfortunately, negative remarks are posted on every board. Just cut the moderators a little bit of slack, when getting to them. We can't browse the boards all day!

BUT, I will play the devil's advocate here. I wonder if the young lady was asking this question to lead into another convo about gender discrimination in our orgs. It's just like girls trying out for high school football. Or like the little girl who was on Oprah some years back because she wanted to join the Boy Scouts instead of the Girl Scouts (This led to a law suit, go figure). So maybe that's the reason for the silly (seemingly, to us, obviously not to Ruby00) question.
