Super Bowl Commercials

Haven't found any of them all that funny or memorable yet.

Halftime show is going to be a snooze, too

I haven't really seen an outstanding commercial yet, but I did think the monkeys in the office were funny.

I really liked the half-time show. I thought Paul did a good job and it was fun to hear some songs from back when I was alive (LOL)

I liked the Pepsi commercial with P Diddy, Xzibit, Wilmer Valderama, Eva Longoria, Carson Daly, ...... that was hilarious

The commericals are almost universally lousy so far.

The halftime show was incredible, but no one should be surprised by my opinion considering my Sir Paul fandom!

lol, I thought halftime was incredibly boring... was wishing it was Guns 'n Roses singing Live and Let Die...

I did laugh at the commercial where the cat knocked over the spaghetti sauce...

I thought the diet pepsi commerical with P Diddy, et al was great as well.

I also enjoyed the MC Hammer one... just because it was so true. (It was Allied Insurance I believe.)

there was an MC Hammer one with Lays Potato Chips. that one was weird

In terms of sheer marketing, I think Miller did the best job with making sure that their Miller Lite commercial bashing Bud Select aired even before the Budweiser ad introducing Bud Select came on.

I thought the commercials were much better this year than last year.

What happened to the Clydesdale snowball fight commercial we were supposed to see? Did I just miss it?

AGDLynn 02-06-2005 11:54 PM

I liked the Burt Reynolds and the Dancing Bear one. And the cat/spag. sauce.

Overall, I'd give them a C--. Too many auto/truck, movie and TV show ads.:p

The Superbowl comercials have seriously fell off. Only a few of them were semi-funny. The half time show was lame. I mean, Paul put on a good show, but why was there only 1 performer  They usually have a good variety of artists that can appease different audiences. I was very disappointed :(

The commercials were OK at best.

The halftime show was really good -- but an obvious reaction to last years fiasco.

No way were we going to see scantily clad dancers, etc. this year.

Ah, another Beatles fan!! I've loved them all of my life!!

The only commercial that I even somewhat liked was just after the game - MC Hammer's "You Can't Touch This" as his house is foreclosed - but since I don't remember the advertiser, it really didn't do its job.

That was my favorite and pretty much the only one anybody that was where I was laughed at.
