Ossie Davis just passed away. . . .
 

Folks,

I was saddened to hear the passing of Ossie Davis an excellent actor, voice of the Modern Civil Rights Movement, Philanthropist, and he recently received a Kennedy Honor. He will be missed and my prayers go out to his lovely wife; Ruby Dee, family and friends.

i heard about the passing of ossie davis on friday, as well... according to what i heard, he was down here (in south florida, that is) filming a movie and he passed away in his hotel room...

he really was a class act and he and his wife ruby dee really did make a lovely couple...
