Tomorrow, February 4th, is National Wear RED Day.

This is "a day when Americans nationwide will take women's health to heart by wearing red to show their support fo women's heart disease awareness. National Wear Red Day supports The Heart Truth, a national awareness campaign for women about heart disease sponsered by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. The campaign introduced the Red Dress as the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness in February 2003. National Wear Red Day promotes the Red Dress symbol and the message that it carries: "Heart Disease Doesn't Care What You Wear-It's the #1 Killer of Women." wow... very interesting in my opinion... being a woman born with a heart disease...

Monday was the first anniversary of my mama's first heart attack. We're both wearing the pins tomorrow!

I may have to wear red on the inside of something tomorrow - gotta love recruitment where your outfit's preplanned for you :)

Look at it this way - EVERY woman should have a little bit of special or naughty undergucci's, and red is a great color for them! ;)

I'll have to look through what I got that can be "concealed" under a white t-shirt, blue jeans and black heels :)

I passed on the wear red information to the ladies here at my work and all but one wore red today! How awesome! I am talking about 25 women!

Well...red hats worn by penguins would work, right? ;) :D
