Help! Major scheduling problem!
The other sororities on campus have just put up flyers for informal recruitment, and the parties all seem to be happening at the same time. The first night, every house is holding a party from 6-8pm.
After that, I can break up my schedule very carefully, but it's the first night that worries me. I don't want people to think that I'm not interested because I can't get to all of them.
How am I going to work this?

how many sororities are you talking about? you have two hours, so it might be possible to "drop in" and stay x amount of time so that you could make it to each house for a little while and let them know that you are interested. it may be that this is what the first night is intended to be. you could check with the greek life office to make sure. good luck!

There are 4 houses right now. I'm not sure of any others are doing informal. I really want to see all of them and get a feel for the dynamics in each sorority. One week to go, then recruitment is on.

My campus actually put that into the recruitment rules--visits on Open House nights should last at least 15 minutes and no more than 30. I don't know how well this will work but that is what the chapters voted on.
