Looking For Archons and Vice Archons
 

Hello beautiful ladies of Phi Sigma Sigma chapters!

My name is Brooke and I'm from the Zeta Eta Chapter at Carleton University in Ottawa (Canada).
I am considering running for the position of Archon or Vice Archon and I was hoping that some people who have held the positions in the past or who currently hold them could give me some advice about the position and maybe share some of their personal experiences. I have talked to some of you in the past, but I have forgotten who since I lost my old account :(

Yay Canadian sister!

I was Archon, oh let's see....back in 2000-2001. Being Archon is very rewarding but it can be stressful. You'll feel like the tiniest mistake is your fault because the weight of the chapter is on your shoulders! It's really fun though!

V.A. is fun too but a lot of work. If you are a very well organized person, this job coud be for you!

Oh and the chapter operations binder has some helpful stuff for vice but not a whole lot for archon. But then again archon is more of a plan/communicate/react position, so I guess thats why there isn't a whole lot in the binder.
