Oklahoma State NPHC orgs banned from parties in Union
All Oklahoma State University African-American fraternities and sororities were banned indefinitely from having events in the Student Union after numerous fights broke out at a dance sponsored by one of the fraternities on Oct. 2.

Why all of them? The article said that the Omegas had security there. It most likely wasn't even them. It was probably some dick from another school who wanted to start trouble. Maybe the school was just looking for something to get the NPHC orgs on, IMHO.

Why are all the groups being punished? This doesn't sound right.

And, if you're going to punish ALL groups, then why not ALL the groups? They only banned the NPHC groups (and the author of the article called them African American fraternities and sororities). Since the Greek Life Manager admits that when problems have occurred, it has been non-students who were the problem, then why not ban events with non-students?

You all bring up very valid points. I would like some more details, however, before deciding what to think in this case.
