I saw U2 in the Meadowlands (or whatever they are calling it now) in 1997. I had a great seats. I'd like to see them again.

I saw them at GM Place for their Elevation tour in 2001 - excellent accoustics and an all round great venue for the concert.

I had some friends who went to Pop Mart (1997) which they performed at BC Place and the sound was brutal:(; so I am pretty happy that they will be back at GM Place.

I noticed the only Canadian city on the list is Vancouver - good for us U2 loving Vancouver Greek Chatters, but not for our fellow Ontarians...

Oops... I just realized I read the wrong date. My show in NorCal will be on the 9th! WOO HOO. I emailed the boyfriend, so hopefully we can go... along with the rest of his roomies.

I do have a question. The general admission (probably the cheaper tickets) are standing room only. I've never been to a concert like that where you are literally on the floor like that. Even at places where are sitting outdoors on grass, there is time to sit down. So would you be willing to stand for those 3 hours with zillions of people? I mean it doesn't sound so bad because of how close to the stage you could be... but what is everyone else doing?

Yay! I just got tickets for May 21 at the Madison Square Garden!!!! Too bad they only let you get 2 tickets in the presale. Boo, I'm gonna try to get some for the Meadowlands when the regular seats go on sale. I'd love to see them in Dublin though.

I actually did it through U2.com. I subscribed so I could get the presale tickets, but you had to subscribe by Jan 24 to do it that way. I usually get tickets through ticketmaster.com.
