Study Abroad 2005

Anyone planning on doing study abroad?

or How did you find your experience taking part of the program and does it "boost" your resume?

Background: I'm planning on doing study abroad for Political Science..and will be heading out to Salford Uk in Fall '05.

I'm going to Vienna this summer to study German.

My goal is to be proficient in 4 languages by the time I graduate. :)

 Four languages? How many do you know by far? I learned two languages during college, and it took forever to learn.

I studied abroad in Canada, Mexico and Italy, and people always ask me about the experiences when they spot them on my resume. So the answer is, yes, they "boost" your resume.

I'm pretty good in Latin and Greek, and I'm currently taking French. I wish we had an educational system that emphasized languages at an early age...it would have made things sooo much easier.
