Things that don't piss you off about MLK day
 

I didn't have to go to school today.

It was pretty awesome.

I left my house 5 minutes later than usual for work this morning but still made it into the office on time since there was no traffic on the road!

I got to sleep in all day because classes don't start until tomorrow. :)

I didn't have to work today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

technically i didn't have to work, but apparently someone forgot to send me that memo.. but i got time & a half.. so woohoo!

We get to honor a great man and day off of work!

That it's a "day on", not a "day off". I spent the afternoon volunteering in a homeless shelter with my sorors.

We did the same....we went to clean up the neighborhood in the cold cold weather!!

the down time.
i actually had time to go to a cheap movie. finally saw friday night lights.

I got accepted to medical school on MLK day!
Life is good.

Oh my gosh!!!! That's awesome. It's almost as if Dr. King himself gave his "I have a dream" speech for you!!!!!!!
