POSSIBLE expansion at West Virginia
 

So I found out at a meeting yesterday that WVU is considering expansion. Our advisor told us that the potential sororities whose names have come up in discussion of expansion have been Tri-Delt, KD (they were here up until a few years ago, their house is next to ours), and ADPi (which used to be here until I think the late 80s). I think expansion at my school would be great; we only have 8 NPCs for 25,000 undergrads.

Hopefully I'll find out more news about this soon!

while i'd love to have another KD chapter in the area, and it's always good to reopen old chapters, I don't know if I really want one where there's been such a history of risk management issues, both for the group itself and the campus in general. But i'm sure our HQ would make the appropriate choice if recolonization became possible

wow, I can definitely see where a new chapter is needed. I'm glad to see that the admin is approaching orgs that have allready been at WVU instead of trying to bring in brand new ones. Good luck on that, keep us posted.

Tri Delta was also at WVU. The Phi Iota chapter was closed in 1991. It's the only chapter that we've ever had in West Virginia.
