No more Road Rules? and the Battle of Naughty and Nice!

According to the Real World/Road Rules Blogspot, MTV and Bunim & Murray are considering not renewing Road Rules for another season. The next season of RR was set to air some time in June.

Still, RW has been renewed for five more seasons, at least two more for RW/RR challenges.

The next RW/RR challenge is called Battle of Naughty and Nice, and filming began just a few days ago on the 9th.

So far the confirmed cast members are:

Abram (RR South Pacific)
Beth S. (RW Los Angeles)
Jamie (RW San Diego) -- YAY! She's hawt!
Dan (RW Miami)
Julie (RW New Orleans) -- dun dun dun
Veronica (RR Semester At Sea) -- surprise, surprise...she hasn't gotten a real job yet
Rachel (RR Campus Crawl)
Brad (RW San Diego)
Tonya (RW Chicago)
Karamo (RW Philadelphia) -- Senusret I should be happy w/ this one
Shovanda (RW Philadelphia)
Jodi (RR X-treme)
Derrick (RR X-treme)
Tina (RR South Pacific) -- so glad she's back for this one!

That's just their tentative cast list and I don't know if they're having big teams like they had in the past, but I really don't know how this challenge is going to be broken down.

They said Coral is NOT in this challenge (HALLELUJAH!) and neither is Melissa (New Orleans). Melissa's probably busy with her Girls Behaving Badly...but I'd love to see a Julie vs. Coral or Julie vs. Melissa catfight again!

I'm sure Julie will find someone to cat fight with. She has a knack for pissing people off. In fact, I'd put money on her and Tina getting into it.

I love Julie though because she doesn't put up with people's shit, which is what pissed Coral off more than anything. Coral is all about intimidation and manipulation and she uses it to get her way even though in all the specials I've watched with Coral she has SUCKED big time in more than half of the competitions. IMPO.

What also made Coral be so antagonistic toward Julie was the fact that Melissa basically told her to give her a hard time. Remember that "MELISSA WILL KILL YOU" t-shirt? I think that's what it said.

I *THINK* the N&N will air sometime after the finales of RW Philly and BOTS2. I'm thinking late February, early March?

I just about don't care who else is on the show. Just as long as Coral isn't. In a way, I like and respect her personality because she'll tell you what it is exactly as it is. I just don't like the manipulation (pushing others to be team leaders) and the fact that she hangs on for so long when she doesn't need to be.

Also, I would like to see all of the RW Philly guys on there.

Isn't Beth S. in her mid 30's by now?

And I'm so glad to see Dan back, he is absolutely hilarious.

do you think these people will still be competing in the challenges whent hey are in their 40's?

For as long as this gives them something to do while giving them some form of financial stability, than yes. Sad.

You know Veronica will. She'll be the 80 year old on the ropes course.

Even though I am still mad at how he treated Dorian. :(

I wish they would get rid of RW and keep RR instead. I can't even watch this season's RW - it's way too boring.

I don't think it would be a great loss if RR got cancelled.

I hope Naughty and Nice will be more exciting than this last Challenge. It's no fun if one team is ALWAYS winning. Not having Coral will make a difference. She and Veronica need to get real jobs. A friend of mine saw Veronica and Rachel at the mall out here the other day. I told him he should have gone up to Rachel and said "This game is ugly! The inner circle is ugly!".

I really think Coral is hosting. I agree that she was fun to watch though. She played the game. I wouldn't give a fuck about anyone else, I'm trying to win that damn money! I hope Robin, Brad and Randy come back. I lurved them.
