Favorite Gym Games
 

Remember Gym in elementary school and high school? What were your favorite games?

I personally loved floor hockey. As a hockey player, it was my one time where I got to "shine" in gym class. Yea... I know I was a geek.

As far as games I liked Pin Guard and Dodgeball

i liked playing kick back. you just kick balls back and forth . i was able to kick really far and high like the older kids. hehe

i also liked softball or kickball.

at recess, i liked tetherball.

I LOVED playing flag football! Also I liked dodgeball because i was always so tiny I was great at it.

I absolutely HATED doing the Presidential Physical Fitness test (did anyone else have to these or was it just my school). I had barely any arm strength so I could never hold myself up when we had to do the hang thing. My time was always less than 3 secs and it was so embarrassing!

rope climbing (i always made it to the ceiling, and we would make fun of the fat kids that couldnt get but 2 feet up)

I am a CHAMP at dodgeball..........

We had to do a 2 mile run three times a year!

HELLS YEAH.

The ultimate gym game. God I swore I was a champ at that game. Swore I had a future in special ops.

floor hockey was awesome

Matball was my favorite game to play during elementary school gym periods-I was terrible at kicking the ball so when they'd finally let me walk to first base I'd sit there for the rest of the game. :p

(Behind my elementary school there was a tiny (although we thought it was huge) hill that we used to play King of the Hill on-that was probably my favorite game we'd play during recess.)

In middle school my favorite game was volleyball-I even joined our intramural teams & then later the intramural teams in high school because I liked it so much!

My favorite thing in grade school was when we did the parachute games...here's a list of some of them (Taken from a scouting site but we did many of the same ones, plus a few more that aren't listed.)

In junior high/high school I liked archery, dance, and badminton. I HATED volleyball.
