Ok I have seen this topic on other boards, but I watched "Bootylicious: Making the video" and I just had to comment on some stuff:

1. When they found out they had debuted at #1, Kelly and Beyonce hugged, while Michelle just kinda hugged the outside. Proving to me once again that she is still "odd man out"

2. I have to admit, Beyonce is not as toned as I thought she was. Michelle is the most toned of the group.

3. I liked the Michael Jackson tribute.

4. Is it just me, or is Beyonce's hair blond as all get out???

5. I just don't understand how they can have a song on "Survivor" about putting some clothes on when they do the same thing? what's up with that?

I like D.C. but they seem more like a duo(Beyonce and Kelly) than a trio. I bet beyonce's sister will be the 4th member when she gets older! lol!

Can someone tell me WHY they were booed at the game while in Philly? I'm not trying to understand because they are from Houston...I'm just trying to figure out what did they do the the public? Is it the age old drama or was it their outfits? Someome please shed some light on this for me. I'm Lost!

My friend was at the game when they got booed and she said a lot of them were booing because Michelle had on a Lakers shirt. A lot of people were upset because they were lip singing too. Why that was such a big deal, I have no clue!

Well I can understand the lip synching. I would be upset too. I read a little bit about it on www.tomjoyner.com/indanews/

Well, sometimes lipsynching is needed if you have a complicated routine. But I do give Nsync props, they DO NOT lipsync. And they have a routine that is way more complicated than D.C.

I think they got booed because of all the reasons you guys have said. And you know how it is, let a few people get to booing and you are gonna boo too(it's the same for doing the wave at a football game)

D.C. called my station last year and our morning show CLOWNED the heck outta them. When they got off the air, Beyonce tried to say something crazy and I(an intern at the time) was like "oh no she didn't" and said a few....choice words : )

Needless to say, I got hired in a few months, lol

Madam Moderator, as I said on a previous post, I'm not a Destiny's Child fan (although I do like a couple of their songs). For ME it's all this hype about BEYONCE'. It's just not setting right with me. She's talented and pretty, but I feel that she's being singled out and made to LOOK as if SHE'S the main attraction in the group. I don't it's fair to the other members. And I believe that if there was no truth to any of the rumors about this group, then things would have settled down by now. You reap what you sow. And I believe that the crowd at the game were booing them for SEVERAL reasons.

LEt me add in my $19.13. Has anyone ever noticed that Michelle and Kelly are ALWAYS giving Beyonce props and they never get anything in return?? Maybe it's just me, but if I was in a group situation, I would have loved to get my props every now and then instead of always blowing up one group member. Again, maybe that's just me.

I heard them on Doug Banks one morning and he asked to speak to Kellie and the whole time she gave props to Beyonce. She never answered any of his questions. They are soooo trained and you can tell!!

I alos believed they got booed for several reasons!!

We have to remember that the group is "Beyonze's Child", not "Destiny's Child". This group is headed my the Knowles family, and tehy are going to hype their daughter up, over the other two, now question!! I was watching part of one of the mtv award shows(the most recent one). Has anyone noticed that beyonce never moves. She is always in the center. But if michelle or kelly speaks.. Beyonce does not move. And on magazine covers she gets her own little picture while the other two are sharing a pic. I am not hating.. but most girl groups are usually pictured together..u-n-i-t-y

Why are we as AA women "hating" on DC? Why the backlash?

Now my answer to this is: I can't find a AA woman YET that didn't love this group when they came out(rockin to bills bills bills, say my name, etc) but the drama of all the group changes PLUS the ex members talking about the Knowles family soured us on them.
And it ain't just us now, do you notice that AA men now aren't all over Beyonce? They are lookin at the other girls now. It just goes to show what men have always told me, a girl can look damn good and have a stank attitude, which is a turn off

I DIDN'T like DC when they first came out. I remember them BEFORE they made it big singing at a TSU vs. SU game in H-town...

I was like who is that? Then NO, NO, NO, NO, NO came out! I didn't/don't like them because I heard/hear them too much!

I think they come shady when it comes to how they handle business, but I think it's being a little too speculative to say who has what kind of attitude. I don't care much for Beyoncé, but she usually seems like a genuinely nice person. I don't know what goes on off-camera, of course... but in a twisted way, I guess that was my initial point. Destiny's Child...how much longer are they going to last. They are each going to do their own individual album........is that just the way of saying, we are breaking up? Dre Hill....Sisquo......when are they going to tame the dragon and do something together?
