Lifesaver, look into www.shareaza.com.

It uses no adware.

It can log into all the major filesharing networks (make sure you connect to all 3 since the default is only one).

It also has the ability to open torrent files for downloads.

And, most importantly, it's efficient, attractive, and open-source.
