Need Fall 2005 Recruitment dates for TX
 

Hello ladies! Can you please help with Fall 2005 Recruitment dates or pass on where I can get them please? I would appreciate it.

I highly doubt many of these are out yet (if any at all)...someone correct me if I am wrong though (since I am not from TX)!!

Laura - I checked Texas Tech's Greek Life website and it still has Fall 2004's info. Once I know, I'll let you know.

Sounds good - I know it is WWAAAYYYY early but I am trying to be as organized as possible so I figured it wouldn't hurt to start asking now. Thanks Peanutttu - I have a good guess at GU's - not everyone else's though! See ya Tuesday!

Also, keep an eye on the ADPi website...they will eventually update it for next year!

i'd say your best bet in figuring it out is to look at their 2004 dates and figure out the relation between the rush week and the beginning of the semester, then figure out the first day of classes for fall 2005 and figure out which would be the most likely date for their recruitment.

you want all the texas schools that do fall recruitment's dates? I'll definitely look and try to figure some out. (i'm really, really bored.)

ok my guesses, after careful search and analysis:

UNT - classes start Aug. 29, so recruitment probably starts Aug. 22.
UT - classes start Aug. 31, so recruitment probably starts Aug. 24.
Texas State - classes start Aug. 24, so recruitment probably starts Aug. 21.
TCU - classes start Aug. 24, so recruitment probably starts Aug. 17.
Tech - classes start Aug. 29, so recruitment probably starts Aug. 21.
Sam Houston - classes start Aug. 24, so recruitment probably starts Aug. 16
A&M - classes start Aug. 29, so recruitment probably starts Aug. 21.
Lamar - i couldn't find any previous recruitment info, but classes start Aug. 24, and based on the trends of other schools, their recruitment might fall during the week of Aug. 14-20.

baylor and southwestern do spring recruitment.

i joined fall 2003, and this is my second year in the chapter. yay!

I wouldn't put money on that date. This past year, recruitment was during the first week of classes! Crazy! The chapter advisor was constantly poping in and out to go teach her classes at the university. Don't ask me why, I personally believe that the university isn't very pro greek. Oh well... If I find out the dates, I will let y'all know.

I used to always think the campus panhellenic council set recruitment dates? :confused:

i wouldnt put money on most of them, but the speculation was based on last years dates, and at texas state they listed the sunday before classes started as the beginning of recruitment, so that would be the first week of school.

Here are the dates for Texas Tech's Fall 2005 Recruitment:

August 21-26

Lamar always has fall recruitment either the second or third week in September. As soon as the dates are set.....I can let you guys know.
