N'SYNC - Celebrity
Okay, last Saturday on MTV, I saw N'Sync performing this slow song called 'Gone' and I decided then that I was going to buy this album on that song alone. So I just bought this album and why do I love it so. It has such an R&B flavor. Stevie Wonder plays the harmonica on one of their songs. (I love Stevie Wonder to death, which is why I have so many of his CDs) In Justin's thank you, he thanks Stevie and says that Stevie taught him how to sing (not directly of course). I also like and appreciate how Justin, Chris and Lance thank God and Lance also quotes some scriptures. But I'll tell you, #6 Gone, is the BOMB!! I just played it for my Soror/Co-Worker who is thirty-something, and why was she lovin' it. But please, if you don't buy this, at least find a way to hear 'Gone'. I just opened it this morning on my way to work and have already listened to that song about ten times, no joke.
Have I talked about this enough http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif!! ------------------ #10 Sigma (Clark Atlanta University) Spring 1999 Currently: MAL, Southern Region |
DSTLove, I saw that performance too and I must say that I am in love with that song. I am going to get the CD today. I have loved N'Sync since they hit the scene, but they seem to get better and better.
I don't know about you but if I dated white men, Justin would be at the top of my list. He is so cute and I think he has a little bit of soul in him. Quote:

I usually buy old school R&B or any new R&B that might hit the scene like Jill Scott or Alicia Keys. My 14-year-old brother can't believe I bought the CD. He's like "You're 24 years old". Good music is good music. And I'll say it again, this album is good. The last track, 'Do Your Thing' has a very R&B sound. Justin and JC wrote 10 of the 13 songs. Some of the songs were produced by Neptune, Rodney Jerkins, PAJAM, and Brian McKnight. ------------------ #10 Sigma (Clark Atlanta University) Spring 1999 Currently: MAL, Southern Region |

Hello DSTs!!!
Ahhh...one of my favorite topics--*NSYNC! The incredible Stevie Wonder plays the harmonica on #12 Something Like You. I didn't know that he was was a guest artist, but for some reason, when I listened to the song for the first time, I had a feeling it was him. I scanned through the liner notes and lo and behold it's him. I must say that the guys of *NSYNC are definitely growing up, and this is reflective in their lyrics. I think that's why they're appealing to folx outside their target age range. I think it's also awesome that they got to work with some of their idols (Stevie Wonder, Brian McKnight..)! I'm guessing the "Pinky" Justin refers to in his thank yous is none other than Britney. Ack, that girl is so lucky. dstbrat-have fun at the concert...they're even better when you see them live! |
I've always loved N'Sync!!! I've been a fan since the first album!!! I suggest folks cop the last albums, too.

I hate to serve as the echo in the room, but I LOVE NSYNC! I fell in love with their looks, and stayed in love with them for the grea music. As soon as I'm a little less broke I'm buying the CD.

All I can say is, NSYNC has the ghetto pass, lol!
Did you guys read the VIBE article on them? T-Boz admitted that she sings thier songs to her baby and Puff Daddy goes to NSYNC concerts all the time. Why did Wanya of Boyz to Men say that he loves the song "This I promise you " and if they would have sang it, it would of been off the hook, I was like Wanya please your last album was wack! QTE |

LOL. I think you will have to fight off a whoooole lotta people to get Justin. I think Britney's got the ball and chain on him already. But, you know those hollywood types...one day they're in love, the next...they're in love with someone else (just look at Jennifer Lopez). You may just have a chance, soror http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif |

THis I Promise You is a beautiful song. I am thinking about it for my wedding, but I have to find some people that can sing it perfectly or I will have to get the N'Sync CD blazing. If it cannot be done right, it won't be done at all.
Also, Justin just needs to find the right Black women (like me - LOL) and he will be converted forever! Once you Black, you don't want to go back!!! Quote:

Uh oh, ya'll done started something up in here!! I'm an N Sync fanatic!!! I'm seeing them in concert August 9th and I am so excited! The CD is incredible. I love "Gone", but the last track "Do Your Thing" is HOT. My friend and I were laughing because they seem kind of bitter on this record. Like somebody went through a bad break-up or something, lol.

THe song that hooked me on NSync was "I Drive Myself Crazy" on their first album. I LOVE that song. That plus songs like "I thought She Knew" always get me, they are off the HOOK |
