I-40 in Tennessee
 

Kinda random, but has anyone traveled on I-40 today/last night in Tennessee? I'm supposed to be driving from Nashville to Jackson later on today and well.... I don't want the poor little Nissan to be slippin' and slidin' everywhere! Just another reason for Santa to bring me a 4WD 4Runner for xmas =) Thanks

i haven't been on 40, but i was on 65 just about an hour ago... i think all the interstates are pretty clear, and south of us didn't get much snow at all, so you should be safe... just be careful!

24 seems to be okay. A little slushy and some black ice. AAA has said that all the interstates are open, just BE CAREFUL!!

My husband went to work in Nashville this morning. He took 24, and said the highest speed he could reach was 30mph. It's bad up here near the KY line, but I think you'll be okay heading to Jackson on 40.
