what did you get this year??
 

i know that the holiday season isn't over yet, but i'm curious to see what everyone got this year. whether it was a present to you, or something you bought someone else.

i got a present from my co-worker today. it's a beanie baby, named "stockings". it's a green and red stocking with a lil brown bear coming out of it. and guess what his birthday is? november 26th, 2003! yeah, i'm a nerd, but how trippy is that? it just so happens to be the same day as founders day... yeah, like i said, i'm a nerd! haha! :D :D :D

Snakes make me quiver, but as long as he's happy :D I know I'm going to be opening a pair of SUPER cute black guess pumps with white stitching around the edge and little tiny white bows on top that one of my chapter sisters bought me. That's about it for now until Friday when I open B-day presents.

my mom and i celebrated christmas last night. yes, i know it was three days early - but i'm leaving for norcal tonight and not coming back until sunday night.

so yeah, lemme tell you what i got, cuz i'm pretty excited! oh i love christmas time!!! :D

i opened all the presents and in the last one was this REALLY pretty light blue sweater. it's soooooo soft and pretty and comfy! i love it! :D

ok, gotta get back to work now. cara, if i don't get a chance to tell you later, have a great birthday!!

I only know one thing I've gotten right now. This past week my boyfriend and I went to the campus bookstore on break (we both work on campus). The class ring people were there. My boyfriend took me over to look at the class rings and next thing I know he is asking all types of questions, including what rings you can put sorority letters on.

So Daryl bought me my class ring! Yea!! I didn't get one for my Bachelor's degree so I'm really jazzed about this one. I can't wait until I get it in about 8 weeks.

Happy Holidays Everyone!!!


I had a great Christmas with my family and my boyfriend. I got a bunch of great stuff (my two faves: diamond earrings from the bf. he rocks! and a coach purse from my parents! I got other stuff too but I'll spare ya)

but..... I did want to mention one present that I knew all of you would love:

my parents got me a flip flop pendant with Phi Sig letters on it!!! It also has a little stone on it too. its way cute! It is part of the new jewelry out for Phi Sig (they got a little post card in the mail and I kinda circled it really big to leave a hint!)

I hope everyone had a good holiday and a happy new year.
My holidays were good. Got to see all the family on both sides. My brother and his gf came from Japan for 5 days and announced that they've been engaged since September and are getting married in April in Kyoto. (They also promised they'd have a canadian wedding in the future too).

My best freind got me a really nice Hello Kitty duffle bag - it's blue and only has one silhouette of Kitty's face so it's not childish looking. My dad bought me the HP: Prisoner of Azkaban DVD as well as LOTR: Return of the King, so I'm happy about that.

I didn't do anything for New year's eve, but that's ok - I was invited out by my best friend and by my cousin but I turned them down (I was in my PJs by 7pm). But it was better than last year when I worked the night at a bingo hall.

Well, the holidays are over so it's time for me to start back on sorority stuff and find a job.
