Weekend Before Christmas...
 

Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house... Did anyone have a noteworthy pre-Christmas weekend? Let's share...

Me:
* Drove in my FIRST snow!
* My lil AOPi cousin got in her first car accident (she's ok, thank goodness!)
* I finished wrapping presents
* Experienced a debacle of epic proportions in getting my hair cut (it looks fine, and the stylist is terrific, but the place is horrid and after this experience, I won't be back! If you live in NoVA, I'd be happy to share with you the name of the place and WHY you should avoid it!). But after several years of being blond, I've gone brunette!
* Hiked some of the trails near the Potomac
* Went to a holiday party with some very drunk accountants: FUN!
* ... and I got a random drunk call from some guy stumbling around Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale at about 4 in the morning. That was actually quite funny.

Congrats on your first snow. My weekend:

-went to NYC
-was hungover from company holiday party on Thursday.
-watched the OC on Tivo
-went to rockefeller plaza and took dorky tourist pictures
-shopped at saks for 2 hours
-went to bars with friends
-took train home in snow
-went to cheesecake factory

it was a great weekend.

Went to a great dinner party and ate lamb and asparagus.

Got back together with my boyfriend
Had a work meeting
Found out about x-mas party
had to work
had to pay car payment:(

half good/half bad weekend!!

*Came home for the Holidays (Long Island)
*Visited my old Elementary School and HS (you start feeling old when only 1 or 2 of the teachers were there when you attended and some of your friends now teach there)
*Mingled at a few Christmas parties
*Finished Christmas shopping (haven't started wrapping yet)
**Enjoyed waching the falling snow from inside my living room where it was nice and toasty from my wood burning stove.

I:

*watched my friend graduate from college
*went to a church Christmas party and participated in a white elephant gift exchange
*did a full workout at the gym for the first time in months
*went Christmas light looking in the downtown Sacramento area
*managed to make it to RCIA class NOT hungover
*went to a trendy bar/after hours cafe with some engaged friends
*ran into one of my sorority sisters who is now engaged to my boyfriend's co-worker (weird story...)
*went to the doctor

I don't really remember that much....I had a 100$ bar tab sat night, left my roomate in the parking lot of the club and ended up trying to drive to Miami for some unknown reason only to stop and turn around after realizing I forgot him while I was driving his truck. :rolleyes: Ended up picking him up and going to an afterparty till 11am the next day. Had ass loads of voicemails, none of which I could understand being as I was still drunk the next day. I layed in bed all day long trying to recover....my tongue is sore as hell, its the kind of soreness you get after you've been frenchkissing someone in the way you do right before you have sex. And the funny thing is, I know I didnt make out with anyone because I was running around all over the club being mr. social as if I was running for president. People are calling my cell phone telling me I was off the chain and I have no idea who they are. Apparently I was up on stage with rabbit in the moon DJing behind me and I was dancing with Monk's girl from los angeles and a crowd of 1000 was easily standing below me. :rolleyes: I felt like shit the day after and I still do....the night was one big blurr. :( And to top it off, i still havent finished my christmas shopping. :mad:
