Rec. Question?
I'll be going through recrutment in Jan. Several people have offered to write rec. for me and I've supplied them with photos, resumes etc. How do I know they've followed through and that the sororities have received my information?

Yes, I think my daughter did ask a question during the summer. She's not the Greek Chatter in the family and doesn't have her own sn.

Then I would delete her post or tell her to create her own screen name. Posting under another person's screen name is forbidden on GC and can lead to unfortunate consequences.

Thanks, I'm pretty new to all of this. If I were going to school here in the south, it wouldn't be a problem to ask a friend to double check for me. In fact I've known pnm who have been called by college friends to remind them to get recs in.

However, I'm going to the midwest and don't really know anyone. In fact, I was told that recs weren't really necessary which would be unheard of at UGA, Auburn etc.

Our apologies. Any breaking of rules was unintentional.

Welcome and good luck to whomever is rushing.

I may sound like a broken record, but if your screen name has been sullied or some other drama has occured involving your screen name, it's advisable to select a new name and just start over.

I'm not encouraging dishonesty, just trying to get those who really want to embrace the GC community off on the right foot.
