Recruitment Forms
I am starting to work on a recruitment binder. At my campus we had a really unorganized recruitment last year, and I need to make sure I have all the forms that rho gammas, potential new members, or even reference papers that we need. If you are willing to share with me, I would appreciate it. I do not have a copy of a withdrawl form or regret with interest form.
I am really not sure what I need in the binder, if you could help, I would be most appreciative. I do have a section on roles of a rho gamma, counseling techniques for a rho gamma with scenarious to encounter, and another section on sorority facts. Good luck with your school's preparation! |
NPC has a bunch of this stuff to order. www.npcwomen.org/store
It is called the Panhellenic Recruitment Counselor Handbook. It has alot of great tips and information to set up training sessions. Most of the forms needed for Recruitment are in it and you just use them to create one for your campus. Also the Green Book has alot of it. They are supposed to be putting out a Recruitment Manual in the Spring with all of the new resolutions explained. You might want to wait or get both. I don't know what is in the new one yet. |
As a Rho Chi (same as a rho gamma), I have a nice binder I've been pouring myself into over break. It has forms in the back that are "weekly reports". Our recruitment is spread out over 3 weekends, so it gives us a chance to observe/comment/make notes about things that went well/didn't go well. The PX's did a bunch of listening exercises where we discussed worse case scenarios/uncomfortable situations.
as far as what girls recieve...all freshmen and sophomore women recieve an E-mail through campus email about recruitment tables (which are set up in campus center during lunch/dinner). The ones who sign up fill out a form with the following info (name, SMC box, dorm address, phone#, year in school, major, hometown, and legacy status). All freshment/sophomore women recieve pamphlets in their SMC boxes as well. Recruitment tabels were up for the last 5 weeks of the 10 week fall quarter, and women can sign up the first 2 days of winter quarter and at opening ceremony on Wednesday the 5th. |
