Long Island GC'ers

Hey Long Island GC'ers. I am planning to move to Nassau County in the next few months. I was wondering if any of you know anyone by chance who may be renting a 1-bedroom apartment. It needs to be pet friendly and my budget is between $900-$1300 a month. I prefer a private house over an apartment building. Please PM me for more details about myself/if you have any ideas. craig's list has a few nice apts out in long island...my brother just got a place out massapequa (its spelt something like that)

Yeah, I emailed a bunch of people on craigslist. Trouble is, some of them "disguise" themselves as people renting privately and they turn out to be a broker. I'd rather avoid a broker and save myself the broker fee if I can. I am not in a rush to move or anything though. Thanks though:D
