Oh you mean the show Arrested Development. I have watched that show a few times, and it's funny. FYI, Jessica Walter grew up in my building and her mother still lives there.

Mother: How's my son?

Doctor: He's going to be all right.

Family rejoices

Doctor: That's a great attitude. I gotta tell you. If I was getting this news, I don't know if I would take it this well.

Mother: But, you said he was all right...

Doctor: Yes, he lost his left hand so he's going to be "all right."

FYI, last I heard, Fox has suspended production on Arrested Development for the new episodes, and is strongly considering not renewing it (in spite of critical acclaim).

Sucks.

That's terrible. Its the best comedy on TV since Seinfeld, bar none.

There are quite a few programs that this happens to. Freaks and Geeks comes to mind quickly.

In its current time spot I doubt it could compete.

Russ, it is a smart show though. "Give me a hand" has me still cracking up today.

Double Rats....one of the best farce life shows on TV...thoroughly enjoyable. I rarely watch primetime tv but this was one show I was sure to watch!

Has anyone else noticed that "Final Countdown" is always playing on that show?

It's Gob's theme music for his magic show. So half the time you see Gob doing something, it's in the background.

Gob is the best character ever. My favorite episode was the one where he was in the banana suit, but I laugh every time he does his magic intro.

I have the show recorded and sent to Japan so I can watch it, it's that funny.

well, it figures. if a shows humor is sophisticated and ironic, if it has great ratings , has won awards and is popular, then the tv execs. seem to feel a need to jerk it off the air. i hope this isn't the case for arrested development, the best show on tv. we have the first season on & we have watched them so much, that i am surprised we have not worn them out!
