I just wanted to share this with all the E. Lynn Harris fans as well as book lovers in general:

Dear Friends:

BREAKING NEWS: E. Lynn's interview on CBS This Morning
moved to Thursday, July 12 in the second half-hour,
but Basil, Yancey and Bart are still coming as
planned!

In less than 24 hours Yancey and Basil make their
return with a bang. That's right---tomorrow Any Way
The Wind Blows will be in bookstores everywhere.
Please help me break a new record in first week sales
by
visiting your favorite bookstore and then read the
book when you have the time-like your vacation. I
don't want anymore "I almost got fired for reading the
book at work" letters.

I want to thank the many of you I met at the Essence
Festival. A great time was had by all, despite the
heat. The first week of the tour kicks off tomorrow,
Tuesday, July 10th with a noon signing at Border's on
Wall Street and a 7:30p.m. signing at the Barnes and
Nobles at Union Square. The Barnes & Noble signing
should be festive with CD's and beautiful blowups of
the promotional postcards. Also, surprise guests will
be there and I'm not talking about me! But it will be
great fun.

On Wednesday, I head for one of my favorite cities,
Detroit, for three days of signing. Check the website
for stores and times. I will keep you posted on the
progress of the book sales and bestseller lists.

Also, check out the new and improved website and let
me know what you think. There are lots of new features
including a special Any Way the Wind Blows
screensaver.

I also will be checking the online bookstores for
reviews. It's important to me what you think, but be
gentle...LOL!

SORRY, I just bought it and it was $10.97 @ MEdia Play.

I should have known not to listen to my book club president.

I just bought the book. Why did the Borders rep look me in my face and told me that the book wasn't out. I said the book is out and I received an e-mail from the author that it's out. She said isn't not coming out until the 17th. Ok, why did my friend go pick it up off the table????? I should have gone elsewhere but I really wanted to read it tonight. I had to vent ya'll. Whew!

I'm about to see what going on in Any Way the Wind Blows!!!!
