Zetas in the Military??

Hey, just wanted to know if there are any Zetas in the military out there?

MUzta1987 05-14-2007 03:36 AM

I'm in Army ROTC...and I'm a Zeta.

I mean I'm not in the military.
It is not uncommon at my school for the girls in the NROTC to be in sororities. I think that one of the girls in NROTC was panhel president just a couple of years ago.

I know of a Zeta whose husband was Army & is now Reserve in Kentucky. He was just sent home from Iraq. Actually shot down & injured.... is getting better now.

Were you looking for anyone in particular?

No, no one in particular, I was just curious :-)

SthrnZeta-

You went to GMU, didn't you? I remember at one of the Virginia ZTA days meeting a sister from GMU who was going overseas. That isn't you is it?

No, that was my pledge sister, Bryanne. She ended up not going - they decided not to activate he reserve unit at that time. I myself was in the Army for a bit but got injured in basic training and ended up chaptering out because I wasn't healing (hip injury) but I'm ok now. I just thought it would be interesting to see sorority women, Zetas in particular, who were in the military since it's not very stereotypical of sorority women.
