How often are you showing your Phi Sig pride???
 

ok, so this has been posted on a few other forums, but i thought it might be fun to see how our fellow Phi Sig's are with showing our pride...

How often do you wear ... ?

1) Our letters?

2) Our colors?

3) Your pin?

(please indicate if you're an Active or Alumna)



i'm an alumna and...

1) i wear our letters everyday - i'm always wearing my gold lavalier

2) together or seperate? well i'm wearing my GO GREEK shirt right now, so i guess that counts! haha... i'll say prolly 4 times a month, give or take.

3) oh wow... i've worn my badge once in the past year, and my mirrored letter pin once, also. but hopefully i'll be wearing them more, if i get on the advisory board! :D

Alum...

1. At least once a week. Its really starting to get cold in Oregon now and I need my sweatshirts to keep me warm! More if I get some of those presents (jewelery) I have been asking for.

2. I wear a lot of blue anyway... but not specifically for phi sig reasons... although one of my sweatshirts is our colors.

3. Way to much! ;) I wear it for my position specific stuff on advisory board. But, since I wear pin attire four days a week at work, I wear it a little more often. Maybe once a week or so. On casual day, I usually wear my foundation pin from rosebud society.

I really like this thread..

1) I wear our letters probably 4-5 times a week. Most of my shirts have letters on there somewhere.

2) Hmmm..I always wear sweaters, I'll just guess once a week.

3) Only for formal meetings, so 2-3x a month. However, I think I might wear pin attire at least once a week so I can show my spirit around campus!

BTW, I'm an active sister.

Okay, I'm such a space cadet sometimes. I was trying to think when I had last worn letters and was trying to remember when i had worn my lavaliere or a sweatshirt. It just hit me. I wear my letters 5 days a week Monday through Friday. I have a yellow lanyard with Phi Sig letters and Phi Sigma Sigma spelled out that I have my office key on. So I wear it everyday at work....like I said space cadet.

So obviously for the color question - same as above at the minimum.

for number 3 - I wore my pin at Founder's Day in November. Then December 4 we had an Advent by Candlight tea at my church for the women of the church so I wore my pin then.

I wear letters prob once a week & at the gym which is on our University campus.

I wear my badge @ every formal meeting - am an advisor & alumnae of the chapter that I graduated from ; )

I encourage everyone who graduates to somehow stay active with a chapter near you, or your local alumnae chapter. It is SO rewarding!!

1) Our letters? Every single day...I wear my lavalier all the time. I wear my letters to the gym cause I am a bit of a show off and my sapphire siter gave me a cute jacket for my b-day that I just love to show off...so yeah I wear them often

2) Our colors? Most of the time...3 times a week maybe!

3) Your pin? I wear the archons key instead...I just love that thing!

How often do you wear ... ?

I became alumni in Dec 04

1) Our letters? Almost everyday (I don't quit have a job yet but I'm looking. I know it might sound strange but I feel like our letters are good luck)

2) Our colors? No so much but I do have Phi Sig flag above my bed and my paddles on the wall.

3) Your pin? I have not worn my pin since Dec.

1) Our letters? I never take off my lavelier (unless I have to, because of where I am going...) letter shirts... probably like 2-3 times a week

2) Our colors? I love blue... so I would say like 5 days a week

3) Your pin? hardly ever. I don't really like gold

i wear my letters every single day and ive even gone to the extreme as to have my tounge ring be blue and gold

i wear my lavelier every day, and letters atleast once a week. i usually only wear my badge to formal meetings though.
